A French Tradition

The word crêpe is derived from the Latin crispus - meaning curly or wavy, and is associated with many popular games and superstitions.

On the 2nd of February a very popular culinary tradition is celebrated in France - called the Chandeleur, after the religious festival. This is the day of the crêpes!
